We are very pleased to welcome MASKK (Manor After School Kids Klub) to its new home in Temple Park Centre from 4 June 2018. MASKK provides a range essential services for children to families in the area.

MASKK will be based in Temple Park Centre alongside our existing regular users.

The following article on the Shef News website includes a video explanation of MASKK's services by Craig Judson, Play and Development Manager for MASKK: https://www.shefnews.co.uk/2018/05/10/

As part of the first phase of refurbishment of Temple Park Centre, the Manor Church and Community Project were successful in their funding bid in 2017 of £40,000 from Veolia Environmental Trust, with additional resources coming from the Methodist Church. These grants have enabled us to replace the heating system, upgrade the lighting and replace the single glazed, metal framed windows with UPVC double glazed window units.

We also have been able to decorate the whole building.

This has created a warm, welcoming and attractive building which our users are very much enjoying.

We plan to continue the redevelopment and refurbishment of  Temple Park Centre with future grant applications to:

  • improve accessibility for disabled users to the building
  • develop a new entrance with reception area
  • renovate and improve the toilets
  • provide a cafe for users
  • develop a soft play centre for children
